IV. Installation Points and Precautions

Hot-Melt Connection Specifications

The PPR end needs to be hot-melt welded with PPR pipes of corresponding diameters. Strictly control the welding temperature, depth and time to avoid pipe diameter reduction or leakage caused by virtual welding or over-welding; after welding, it needs to cool for more than 30 seconds before being stressed.

Sealing Treatment of Female Threaded Interfaces

Before connecting the female threaded interface with the external threaded pipe fitting, it is necessary to wrap 3-5 layers of raw material tape clockwise on the surface of the external thread (or apply pipeline sealant) to ensure the sealing of the thread gap; when tightening, the force should be moderate to avoid cracking of the brass insert or deformation of the PPR main body due to excessive force.
