Structure and Working Principle​

  The aluminum-plastic pipe compression fitting male thread tee is a pipe fitting used for branch connection of aluminum-plastic pipes. Its core structure consists of three interfaces: two compression interfaces for connecting aluminum-plastic pipes, and one male thread interface for docking with valves or equipment with internal threads.​

  The compression interface presses the ferrule through the nut, making the cutting edge of the inner wall of the ferrule embed into the outer wall of the aluminum-plastic pipe, forming a double seal of mechanical interlock and rubber sealing ring to ensure a stable connection without air or water leakage. The male thread interface adopts a standard thread design, which can be matched with raw material tape or sealant to enhance sealing performance.​

Thread standard: NPT (60° sealing taper thread) or BSPT (55° sealing taper thread)​

Installation Parameters​

Pipe Cutting:​

    End face perpendicularity tolerance ≤0.5°, after removing burrs, it should be polished with sandpaper (80-120 mesh) to Ra≤3.2μm​

Torque Parameters:​

    Tightening torque of compression nut: 25-30N・m for 16mm pipe diameter, 30-35N・m for 20mm pipe diameter. Use a torque wrench to tighten in 2 steps (initial tightening by 50%, final tightening to the standard value)​

Pressure Test:​

    Gas scenario: 1.5 times the working pressure (e.g., if the design pressure is 0.4MPa, the test pressure is 0.6MPa), pressure drop ≤0.05MPa after 30 minutes of pressure holding​

    Hot water scenario: 1.2 times the working pressure (e.g., 1.0MPa for a test pressure of 1.2MPa), no leakage after 20 minutes of pressure holding​
