Flow Splitting and Connection

Pressure Rating
The working pressure of mainstream products is 1.6MPa, and some thickened models can reach 2.0MPa (corresponding to S3.2 series), which is suitable for high-rise residential buildings or areas with high water pressure.
Material Requirements

III. Installation Points and Precautions
Hot-Melt Connection Steps
Cutting and Cleaning: Cut the PPR pipe vertically with a pipe cutter, remove burrs and clean the pipe mouth.
Marking Depth: Mark the welding depth at the pipe end according to the fitting specifications.
Heating Operation: Insert the pipe and fitting into the hot-melt machine die at the same time, heat at 260±10℃ for 5-24 seconds, then quickly dock and keep it fixed for 10 seconds:
Thread Sealing: The male thread interface needs to be wrapped with 20-30 turns of raw material tape, and tightened clockwise until there is no looseness. Avoid over-pressurizing with a wrench to cause the fitting to crack.
Avoidance of Common Problems
Temperature Control: Insufficient temperature of the hot-melt machine will lead to false welding, and excessively high temperature may cause PPR carbonization. It is recommended to use professional tools with temperature control display.
Stress Release: During installation, ensure that the tee and the pipeline are kept in a straight line to avoid stress due to angle deviation, which will affect the service life.
Water Pressure Test: After installation, a pressure test of 1.5 times the working pressure (2.4MPa) is required. A pressure drop of no more than 0.05MPa within 30 minutes of pressure holding is considered qualified.
IV. National Standards and Quality Certification
According to GB/T 18742.3-2002 "Polypropylene Piping Systems for Hot and Cold Water - Part 3: Fittings", qualified products must meet the following requirements:
Materials: PPR raw materials must pass hygiene performance tests, and the lead content of copper parts shall be ≤0.2%.
Performance: No cracking when subjected to 1.0MPa pressure at 95℃ for 1000 hours, and no leakage when subjected to 2.4MPa pressure at 20℃ for 1 hour.
